I’m a former Chief Marketing Officer with 20 years of experience in marketing at advertising and technology companies such as Microsoft, Omnicom Media Group and Media.Monks, my experience with communications strategy, scaling global organizations, and M&A lends a deep understanding of the challenges leaders navigate. As a marketing executive, I worked with leaders on getting to their “why,” presenting their best selves, and understanding and influencing behavior.
I use those skills, along with coaching certification from the Hudson Institute, to help leaders gain greater self-awareness, identify their unique strengths, connect to their purpose, and make decisions with greater clarity.
Hi, I’m Leah Kim.
My passion is to help you realize your potential.
Only 1 in 4 C-suite leaders is a woman,
and only 1 in 20 is a woman of color
Women in the Workplace, McKinsey & Company, Oct 2022
I support women of color and their allies to rise to—and stay in—senior leadership positions.
A leadership role can be a tremendous thrill and represent a career achievement. Those who rise to the top are often life-long high achievers. They show up, work hard, and deliver results.
What isn’t often talked about is that leadership roles can feel isolating and overwhelming, especially for women of color who are underrepresented in senior leadership roles and working to check boxes that weren’t designed with them in mind. We lose leaders to burnout and drop out, creating a self-reinforcing cycle.
